Group History:


In 2003, Bualadh Bos! was formed.  It was over 40 years since Oranmore had its own drama group.  With a large and talented population it was decided to re-launch the drama group and to also incorporate music into it.  After much deliberation we decided to call the group Bualadh Bos!  With a great response from the public at large it was decided to launch the group with a small Christmas production of both music and drama.  In Christmas 2003 we hosted our first production.  It was held in the Old Church Venue (now the library) over two nights.  A simple Christmas story with music by The Oranmore Parish Choir and Oranmore Youth Group with a beautiful selection of Christmas Carols.Now in its 6th year the group put on a fabulous production every year.  Bualadh Bos! Music & Drama Group can only go from strength to strength after such great performances enjoyed by a large number of people.  Would you like to become involved with the group?  We would love you to come on board with ideas for our next production, any help and expertise you may have, why not join us and help us grow?
